The entire eight and a half minutes it took this long, heavy potash train to climb past Lake Louise village ( https://tinyurl.com/yb8cj4cl ) on the Canadian Pacific Railway mainline through the Rockies . From when it emerged from the trees to the east until the sound of the tail-end DPU locomotive faded away on its way up Kicking Horse Pass to the west.
