I decided to hike the sulphur mountain in Banff National Park. It was a great experience. The hike took 2 hours and the view was while worth it. We took the Gondola down the mountain. It is good to note that going down was free after 7pm. If you hike around 4-5pm, you could get a free pass down (just have to wait until 7pm).
I would definitely do it again as it was a good exercise and experience overall. Try to pack some lunch in your backpack and snacks. No fast food options up there and only fancy restaurants for food choices. Grab an umbrella just in case it rains and another light jacket as it will get colder when you get to the top.
Banff Entry around CAD
Season Pass: 6 (worth it if you’ll be going there all the time) why not?
