Just outside of Canmore alberta is a short hike to the to the legendary Cold War Vaults. Apparently in 1969 during the cold war the vaults were started. These vaults where suppose to hold Canada’s most valuable documents in the event of a Nuclear War. This Project was started with a tunnel going inside then branching off to 3 different rooms. This was abandoned and it’s be left alone for hikers ever since. This used to be a secret place to visit but it’s gotten more common and is frequently visited now

  1. Didnt have to be that big, they only need to protect the two important documents the goverment recipe for maple syrup and the top secret document locating every tim hortons location.

  2. Ever explored an abandoned Pine Tree or DEW Line site? Funny…Aubrey looked like he knew his way around…..ha!

  3. Coming to a theater near you. The Blair Bitch Project. Two men perform a colonoscopy on the Jolly Green Giant. When all is said and done no polyps were found, but the ending turns out pretty shity.

  4. Nice! We checked that place out a few years back and it was pretty cool. Trust the Canadian government to build a secret bunker within eyesight of a major highway. lol.
